That Merc ain't bad at all. BUT, that Big Blue Bonnie is Beauti-mous!!

Another vote for the Bonneville.
Being honest, both are a little odd looking to my eyes. But an edge for the Pontiac, so it gets my vote.

I guess I am the odd one here. I chose the Mercury for the lines making it look like it is screaming down the street.
Back in the day, I would have chosen the Pontiac. But the Merc has grown on me. I'm now with Joe N.. To my eye, it's a more cohesive design with some very nice touches, like the way the front bumper mimics the Thunderbird, the long parallel lines that lead your eye to the rear and that sloping, elegant roofline, the triple lenses on either side of the rear haunches, a killer interior, and a Thunderbird engine. I like the Bonneville, but it doesn't have the balanced proportions the Merc has. The trunk always seems a bit too long to me, not dreadfully so, but it sends my vote to the Mercury.

Love them both! The Mercury looks like a fun car while the Pontiac looks more formal. Back in the day I would have bought the Mercury; today I would buy the Pontiac as I am more formal in my old age. I have to go tie, love them both for different reasons.
Both cars are very nice but the Pontiac is just a bit more attractive to my eye; especially with those stacked headlights. I prefer the 1963 versions of both these cars however.

Mercury for me too...!!
Both such great-looking (and performing) automobiles from that year. Right now, I only have a couple of 1964 full-size Mercury replicas, although I do have a full-size Pontiac from 1962.
