The curvaceous Chevy over the boxy Ford for me.

I'm going with the Ford. IMO Chevrolet took a step backward from the beautiful 65. While the car is essentially the same for 66, they changed all of the details that made the 65 perfect.

What he said, but it was close. Had it been 1965, I might have had apoplexy over the decision.

I agree with you, but IMO substituting Chevrolet with Ford is equally true after 1965.

I'm more drawn to the shapely Chevy than the edgy Blue Oval this time.
@bob-jackman Ford gets the nod today. Once again I agree with your opinion Bob. The '66 Chevy grille and tail lights, although still decent looking, were less attractive/aggressive looking than the stunning '65 (same can be said for Pontiac IMHO). The '66 Ford HT roof line was very sporty looking and contributed to the overall crisp and attractive design; which was every bit as appealing as the '65 Ford.

Another vote for the Ford Galaxie 500.
This is another heartbreaker for me. I love both. I was almost going to, for the first time ever, vote a tie. But then I saw the 7 Liter badges on the Ford, and I caved.
