I agree with Jack but give the nod to the Ford for the killer interior. I had a friend who had a GT A with a 390 and an automatic. The console shifter had these little lights that showed what gear it was in. As a 16-year-old, I was mesmerized.

This triggered a memory for me JK. An acquaintance of mine bought a '67 Fairlane 390 GTA in burgundy metallic like the pic below. The interesting part is that he still owns it, has never crashed it and it is mint. He was 19 when he bought it and obviously is a very disciplined individual to retain it all these years.

I have driven both cars back in the day, the Plymouth is bigger with quite a bit roomer interior, the fit & finish was better, handles better, rides better. They both look great and would be a tie for me on styling alone but everything else is Plymouth.
I drove a friends 440 cu in 4 speed '66 Plymouth & another friends '67 Fairlane with a 390 with 4 speed and I did put mileage on both while on more than one trip
