I always liked the first gen Firebirds. The Cougar is nice but has a very formal look. Going with the sportier Firebird.

I really like the Cougar. If I were able to drive and afford a car I may have bought one.

Oh my goodness, what would Geno say? He'd probably go with the Mercury Cougar. NOT! Neither will I - Firebird for the win.

Very difficult choice as they both have so much to offer, but I ultimately went with the Firebird.

I have owned both of these cars and loved them but prefer the styling and handling of the Cougar.

Pontiac. I never cared for those sequential turn signals on the Cougar.

I liked the Pontiac, better than the Camaros. I thought they had better styling. So my vote went to the Pontiac over the Cougar. Not to say I do not like the Cougar, but on this pairing the Pontiac got my vote.

Tough choice as is often the case John. Slight preference to the Cougar.

I like Cougars, but I like Firebirds more.

When the Firebird came out in 1967 I thought they were drop dead gorgeous, especially the 400. I can still see that image today so I have to vote Pontiac. I like the 67 and 68 Cougars just not quite as much.
