Dodge for me. I love that roof!
Perfect comparison as usual, John!

When I was in my teens, my Uncle George bought a used 1967 Dodge Monaco 4-door sedan. It was probably around 4 years old. It was gold, and I thought it was the ugliest car I'd ever seen. However, he was very proud of it and let everyone know that it was NOT just a regular Dodge, but a MON-a-CO. Over time I've come to appreciate the styling more and more, but not enough to vote for it. Mercury for me!
Mercury. I’ve never really cared for the Dodge styling.

Neither are my cup of cider. Both are tied for 2nd place!
IMO both are forgetable.
Dodge for me. Neither look all that great.

@perrone1 +1. Unfortunately, unimpressed by both.
Dodge for me. I love that roof!
Perfect comparison as usual, John!
LOL, and it's that roof that for me, is the immediate turnoff.

I voted "No Interest" in either one today. The roof line on the Dodge looks like it was an after-thought and doesn't flow with the car at all. And both card have that "square boxy" look that the later full-size cars had. Not appealing to my eyes! And finally, the color is a turn-off too.

I actually like both. The dodge resembles the Chryslers of that time frame. The Mercury is nice. Hawaii 5-O.
'66 I switched to preferring mid-size American cars. I have no real interest in either car, but the Mercury looks better to me and gets my vote today. If they were mid-size I would pick the Dodge Coronet in '67.
For me, a head scratcher. I like the lines of the Mercury better, but the interior on the Dodge is a killer because it's a 500. I vote Dodge.

These two were not on my radar back in the day. Today I prefer the Dodge.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
