When the '67 Cougar was introduced I briefly considered trading in my '65 Impala SS for one. The Firebird is nice too. I kept the Impala SS until 1970.

John, what'd you replace that beautiful '65 SS with ?

Steve, I replaced it with a '70 Pontiac Lemans which was better suited for my evolving lifestyle.
