@100ford2003 I hope no one takes offense to this. I do respect the Charger but to me they are just to commonplace. I like them but they don’t excite me anymore. You very seldom see a ‘69 G.P., especially one like the rare and beautiful example that John chose, and when you do it’s a real treat!
They are each such beautiful and attractive automobiles ! I am delighted with diecast models of each and would be thrilled to drive either 1:1 of them, especially back in the day.
I love both of these cars but find it hard to compare them because I see the Charger as a muscle car and the Grand Prix as a luxury sports coupe. I had to break it down to which car would I be happiest to own and the Charger won out because for me it would be just more fun to bomb around in. Charger gets the nod from this Pontiac lover.
I could see myself tooling around in that beautiful Charger till I finally got my corner office, with window on 30th floor, then I’d want the GP.

I have to agree with Jack Dodds. The CHARGER is Muscle and the GRAND PRIX is Luxury. They're just not in the same class. I like both, but I like the Grand Prix more! And hey, that Grill has Edsel written all over it! I LOVE IT!

John, you demented demon you, you've struck again! Super hard choice - just the way I like them. And, hey, you designed this venue a long time ago and I never recalled it being tied to certain classes. If you want to put a 2-seat sports car up against a station wagon, go ahead, I see the fun in the resulting discussions.
That said, I'm like the others here, I love both vehicles. In my younger years, give me the Charger all day long. Today, I'll take the somewhat more sedate Poncho please. (Master class on psychology)
I went with Charger because it’s sporty. It can get on a race track and still be a regular driver. I agree the GP is luxurious but I have also seen it on the race track at Indianapolis and true it is a rare occasion you see one around. Does anyone else think Ford copied the grill for the 70s Thunderbird?
Tony, you got that right...No pigeonhole mentality here...got to keep things interesting.John, you demented demon you, you've struck again! Super hard choice - just the way I like them. At 29 it was the Charger all the way. Now, it is that luxurious Grand Prix. Interesting choice, John.
I had to mull this one over for quite a while. Both beautiful, Charger more so, but I went with the GP for its additional luxury.
