Oh BOY! Bet this one divides the ranks but good John! Both great cars. I could easily see this as a tie but I like the air dam and fender flairs on the Trans Am - so it gets my vote today.
I’m going tie. Both pretty cool but neither set me on fire. 🔥🥴☕️

Easy win for the Trans Am for me. A real pony car with terrific looks.

The more traditional, muscular look of the Cougar wins for me today.

This TA has always been a favorite. Not a big fan of the Cougar nose; liked earlier years much more.
- The Cougar is very nice but since I had a '70 TA that is my #1 pick. Thanks for the pics John, brings back some, fine, fond memories of when that car was in my garage and keys in hand. Oh and let's not forget all the "hours" at the back bumper feeding the "Phoenix".

Cougar '67 & 68, Trans Am '77 & '78, other years no interest. From the pretty pictures [not the cars themselves] the Cougar gets my vote rather than a "no interest" vote.
Trans Am for me. I really liked the Cougar for 67 and 68 but they lost me after that.
I've always felt the 2nd gen GM F Body cars were some of GM's best designs.

I'd go so far as to say of American automotive design.

I love both of these for different reasons. Cannot decide so go for a tie.
I remember that when the 70 Camaro and Firebird came out I was stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn't believe what I was seeing that came out of Detroit 👍
I have to agree 101% Bob. And to me they still look as good as the day they went on sale. Timeless styling.
OMG! COUGAR without hesitation please! The color is a knockout punch and the styling is the perfect definition of the word "Beautiful". As for the Firebird, that years styling is the reverse of my definition for the COUGAR.
