I prefer/like the clean look of the Buick as a convertible; that 442 is a beast.

A vary slight nod to the Olds with all of it's bling.
The '64 442 and sixties models were my favorites. By '72 I lost the excitement for the model. The '72 GS, on the other hand, to me, was still a well-designed muscle machine. My vote John - Buick.
Love that Oldsmobile nose treatment.
LOVE THAT 4-4-2. The Buick looks to much like a Chevelle to me, but that OLDSMOBILE was then, and still is today an absolute eye-grabber! In my opinion for the late 60s and early 70s, OLSMOBILE and Pontiac had the "muscle" car look down to styling perfection.

I love the 1972 442; it went seriously downhill after this year sadly. The grille and tail light treatment plus the muscle car appointments give it an aggressive look that is missing with the Buick.
My youngest brother Phil had a 1972 Cutlass Supreme convertible for many years.
Sadly, we lost him to pneumonia 2 years ago and I miss him dearly; my vote goes to the Olds in his honor.

4-4-2 for me too. I like its sharp styling better, although I could do without the spoiler.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Both sharp, tie for me, one minute it's one and the next minute it's the other.
Buick for me.
I've said this before, I can hardly think of any Oldsmobile that I would prefer to the equivalent Buick, model for model, year for year.
