Poll: Which Buick? (2/20/2026)

The '59 is fierce, but the '60 is elegant.  I love both but I'm going with the '60 today.

The only full-size Buick that I like, the '60 please.

Diabolical! I agree with Pete. That '60 is elegant, where the '59 is edgy. I vote for the '60.

I like them both.  Ten years ago, I would have voted the 59 only.  But I have come to like them both equally.

I love both but I'll be the odd man out and take the 59. It was the boldest statements made by GMC; the Caddy's brave fins-in-you-face exclamation, then these  -  the entire top half of the body starts as a hoodie over the slanted twin eyes of the car and flows rearward like a cape into the back razor-sharp points that don't apologize to any mortal. All the while they flaunt Detroit chrome on their edge. 

The designers were timid and scared in 1960 fearing they overstepped their bounds and withdrew like a scared turtle. But not so the fifty-nine. It flies high and proud and the heck with the sixty's goofy stick-on portholes, they look phoney.   

I'll take the sinister 1959.

I'm picking the '60 also. Never have, and still don't like the canted headlight look.🤢

I'll take the 59 for the chrome around the nose.

The '59 has always spoken to me, so it gets my vote today.  As for the '60, it is the ONLY car in the GM line-up that year that catches my eye.  The rest of their '60 line-up bordered on boring and bland at best, with the Oldsmobile being the worst of the lot.  Regarding the '59 Buick, I've always felt it could have been used as the "Batmobile" with its "Wingy Bat" look.  It's a remarkable styling beauty!  In my pics below I show the TV Batmobile along side the Buick.  

59 for me.  My sll time favorite Buick.  Love that aggressive look.

Tie. I like the revised 1960 but the cat like grill of the 59 says here kitty!
