I like them both for different reasons. But the “in your face” aggressive look of the ‘59 gets my vote.

@geno I liked the canted headlight look for the most part; my favorite being the '62 Chrysler 300. I guess the '58 Lincoln did it first but the body colored headlight surround detracted significantly IMHO. For '59 it was Lincoln and Buick; in '60 it was just Lincoln, in '61 & '62 Chrysler only. Then the feature fizzled out and was upstaged by the far more popular stacked headlight look that began with the beautiful '63 Pontiac and was then adopted by several other car companies for up to five more years in some cases as shown below. Several mid size cars also featured stacked headlights; '65 to '67 GTO/Tempest, '66 and '67 Fairlane, '65 to '67 Comet; '66 and '67 AMC Marlin to name a few.

The ‘59 is way over the top, outrageously overdone, and looks like it was styled by a group of drunken, psychotic maniacs. To by minds eye it looks perfect and easily gets my vote!
1960 for me. The '59 looks upset about something. Maybe too much air in the tires.
@jack-dodds Now, you're talking. This one was a favorite. I had the same wheels on my '63 Grand Prix, which was white with a black interior.
@jack-dodds Ooo, I love those Pontiacs Jack. I know plenty that like the canted headlights, they just always looked odd to me. Like stacked headlights falling over.😊
For me the humps and bumps on the '60 are a turnoff. Give me the Batmobile '59.
Gents, thanks for your replies.

I think the 59 would make a better Joker mobile.
