A rare move toward 1960 for me. I usually prefer the '61-'62 designs over '60 from most makers. However, in this case, I really liked what Cadillac did with the '60 model and see it as an improvement over the 1959 model. I was disappointed (only slightly) that the '61 models looked smaller than the '60s.

I went with 1962. It's smaller, and that's about the only reason why. Both are terrific.

Diabolical John! This is SO tough for me. From a nostalgic point of view, Mom had a new '60 Series 62 Drop Top. It was white with red interior but standard wheels and wheelcovers; no gorgeous wires. I took my driver's license test in 1962 in that car!!

But that '62, in THAT color combination is drop dead gorgeous. Going with sixty-two here!

'62 for me, love those skegs, and it's just a beautiful design from every angle. All those bodylines to reflect the light is just gorgeous. I still like the '60 also.💯

Far too large for me but the 1962 looks the most stylish.

I chose the '62.  It's gorgeous and diabolical in that color, I love it.

The years '60 and '61 were tough on me from General Motors.  For the '60 brands, only the Buick got me to look at it over and over, it was beautiful.  And for '61, only Chevrolet and Cadillac were appealing to my eyes.  The Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick for '61 were too "curvy and pointy" for my taste.

And then BAM!  GM dropped the breathtaking '62s on us.  All were beyond description great lookers!

@jkuvakas John, you're correct,  the '60 was 225 inches long '61 was 222 inches long.

I have very little interest in luxury cars and only two Cadillacs I like, the '57 & '62.  No contest for me today the '62.  The '58  & '61 are nice since they are the same basic cars to the two I like the rest you can keep.

George I agree 100% the '60 Buick is beautiful, the only full-size Buick I even liked. I do like the '64 & '65 Mid-size Buick as well.

This is easy for me as the '62 is my favorite Caddy of its decade by far.  The '60 is okay, certainly a huge improvement over the '59, but still no match for the beautiful '62.

@jack-dodds My thoughts exactly Jack. My dad had a 62 Coupe DeVille and It's my favorite post war Cadillac.

I like the shape of the 1962 but I wouldn’t pass up the 1960 which was an improvement over the 1959.

Both beauties but For me it's the smooth and slick '60 as compared to the '62 with all its lumps and bumps.

Gents thanks for your responses!
