Far too over the top in both instances.
@georgeschire I agree that the GM lineup for 1960 was a little bland compared to the exciting '59s (excluding Cadillac, as you say) but IMHO GM hit it out of the park from '61 to '65. I love everything they produced in this time frame....including pickups.
You and I are on the same page with but one exception. I liked the '61 Chevy, but the rest of GM's '61 family didn't do it for me. But from '62 through '65 I'm with you buddy, their ladder line-up rocked with beauty.

@brush The '62 is my favorite Cadillac of this particular era by far as well Bruce.
Of course the '60 is more refined and more pleasing to look at, but it's not iconic.
For me it must be the in your face, go big or go home '59 with its massive fins that set it apart from every other car on the planet.
