I like all three, but If I really have to pick, I'd rather be cruising in the Lincoln, then the Mercury and Ford last.

I love this lineup for '49. The Lincoln is big and elegant. The Ford is lean and clean. For me, the Mercury combines the best of the other two. Mercury, Lincoln, and Ford in a tight race.

For me it's the clean lines of the Ford and Lincoln for 1st and 2nd place while the overdone Mercury gets 3rd place.

The beautiful Mercury wins by a hair over the Ford (QC issues detracted) and the ugly Lincoln a distant third. The '49 is my favorite Mercury of its 3 year styling run.
