Pontiac for me, followed by the Oldsmobile, Buick, Cadillac, then Chevy.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Pontiac, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Buick. All good, GMC's best styling year of the '50's.
Olds, Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac, Chevy.
Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, and finally, Cadillac.
Chevrolet, Pontiac, Cadillac, Buick. Oldsmobile. What a great looking lineup for GM; they are placed in very close order for me.
Okay, first order of business for me is to picture all of these '57's in HARDTOP form! Reason being, it's the hardtop styling that makes them. What should be no surprise to those who know me here on the Forum, the OLDSMOBILE with its sensational 3 split rear window wins hands down. An incredible styling feature that made it the BEST looking '57 from GM.
Then I rate them this way:
1) OLDSMOBILE 2) BUICK 3) PONTIAC 4) CHEVROLET 5) CADILLAC
The lower priced Buick's shared the Oldsmobile rear window treatment. The Pontiac, though a little over done with chrome, outweighs the Chevrolet styling, while finally Cadillac is the dog of the family after its outstanding '56.

Buick by just a smidge over the Olds. The others....I don't like.
