This is one of the few times I can’t make my mind up, I have to vote tie. These two are so different, but so alike that I kind of equate them as different genders of the same species. Especially in the DM examples on my shelf, the ‘56 looks very squared off and masculine. The ‘58 is much more curvaceous, and to my eye at least, more glamorous. Thanks for making me get a couple of my favorites out John, a diabolical choice!
@geno If choosing from the tri-five, I’m with you Geno. Funny thing is, years ago I would have said ‘57 first, then ‘55, ‘56 last. Now my preference is exactly opposite. Normally I’d say tastes change as we mature, but I don’t feel I’ve matured much. Must be true because my wife agrees!
No contest between the '58 and the '56. The '58 is modern, flashy and has incredible presence-the best-looking Chevy from the '50s. Hey, I like the '56, and it is my favorite Tri-Five, but the '58 is light years ahead in overall style.

@kevins I'm with ya brother. My wife tells me I'm a kid in a 63 year old body lol.🤣😂 And yes, thanks John, I enjoy these and appreciate your effort in bringing them to us every day. 💯👍
I voted 56. Its always been my favorite. I have never liked the 58. 58 was a bad year for the big three. The T-bird is the only 58 I like.
Can't makeup my mind...going to punk out and call it a tie...no it's the '58 for me!
Gents, thanks for your responses.

'58 Impala looks like a much more expensive car than one of the "low-priced three" so it deserves my vote today.

I love all the Chevys from '55 thru'58, with the '55 being my fave but of these two I prefer the '58 for its unique design and awesome roofline.
