To be honest neither one makes my top 10 Dodge list; in fact the 61 is dead last.  I'm steadily warming up to the 62 as the years go by.  Still I do enjoy seeing them at shows anyways; just because of the Chryco era they represent.

The 1962 has a less cluttered look, particularly at the front. It has similar driving characteristics but just looks more polished.

The '61 by a thousand miles. To my eye the '62 Dodge is among the most poorly styled cars that I can think of. A hodge-podge Dodge!

I am not really fond of either, but to choose, the '62 has a slight margin over the '61. At a car show, I would love to see either, but I wouldn't own them.

Like many have posted, I'm not a huge fan of either. I'll say 1962 for its smaller size and more modern engineering.

I like both for different reasons, but voted for the '61.  Any of the early Sixties MoPar's would be welcome in my garage anytime.

Don't care for either, but the 61 just looks like the lessor of 2 evils. I became a big Dodge fan in 1965 and loved their B-body [mid-size]to 1970 and 1967 compacts up to 1972 and ponys 70 & 71. '57 to '60 Dodge were alright, but not loved. The rest I don't care for their styling/design.

@brush  Bruce; the 65 full size Dodge was the last year I liked its styling.  I sure do agree with you on the mid size Dodges though (except the 70 grille); they were awesome cars.  Then there is the 68 Charger R/T......as good as it gets in its class.

Two drastically different Dodges.  I had to choose the '61.  The downsized '62 and '63 Dodges are, to me, are flat-out fugly, especially in the front.  I see that the '62 is currently ahead in the vote count. ???  Are Dominion machines tabulating the votes?  🤣

The '61's proportions work better than '62 due primarily due to an errant decision to downsize the '62 cars after the basic design had been chosen.

Hey I'm going to make this simple.  After seeing all of the many great Dodge's presented on this thread, I'm jumping in and saying, I'LL TAKE THEM ALL in real or model form.

Excitement
