John, you said this for the GTO, " I hold the original in high esteem...gotta respect your roots." Know what? I wholeheartedly agree sir!
For the 442, I vote 64, 65, 66, 67!!
Tony, looking at these 442s I'm almost sorry I said that. Does lust take priority over respect? For me it might.John, you said this for the GTO, " I hold the original in high esteem...gotta respect your roots." Know what? I wholeheartedly agree sir!

@sizedoesmatter Lust is for the daughter - respect for her father. Two different things for which - perhaps - you need to different GTOs?
Some things improve with age and the 67 442 is my choice followed by the 66. 😎💪

Reverse chronological order for me.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Again I will go in reverse order, 67, 66, 65, 64 for me.
They're Oldsmobile's, so for me it's a TIE! And that also means no matter what order the 4 years are in, it's still a TIE. They're all #1 to my eyes!

Midsize GMC, the order I like them in:
#1 Pontiac '66 & '65 & '67
#2 Buick '65 & '64
#3 Oldsmobile '65 & '64
#4 Chevrolet '70 & '66 & '67
No interest in other years.
I chose the same order as Tony. I really like the original lines of the 442 so chose, 1964, 1965, 1966, then 1967.
Again I will go in reverse order, 67, 66, 65, 64 for me.
I'm with John. I always liked the '67 best for its separated headlights and, of course, styling.
Steve
Love them all...taking the safe road and calling it a tie.
