What beautiful automobiles from Oldsmobile ! They were certainly hitting their stride during these times and the Rocket Olds were real style and V-8 performance stars. I have replicas of the 1955 and 1957 cars, but not yet a 1956 edition.
You're on one magnificent roll John! I went with the '56 first. I never got used to the side design of the '55. Distinctive and different, it definitely says Oldsmobile, but the '56 is more straight forward nice looking. So is the '57, my choice for second place; but it isn't as iconic-Buick as the '56 or, even the '55.
Beautiful cars, I went with 55, 56, 57.

Sure Ed; drop a bomb and then run for cover. Nope - we want, NO, we NEED an explanation please sir!Despite my avatar, I voted in chronological order.
No interest for me. Not a fan of any of them.
Olds, there are only 3 years styling of full-size I really like: '62, '63, '57.
Today in reverse order; '57, '56, '55
'57 is my favorite year for Oldsmobile.
That being said, I'm not really an Olds guy, but I still appreciate today's post, John!

I really liked the Chevrolet and Pontiac, 1955 through 1957 but I was never a fan of the larger upscale GM cars in that period. I have gone with a tie here although that black 1957 certainly looks classy.
1955, '57 then '56 in that order; although it is nearly a tie between the first two. Never was a big fan of the wider mouth grille effect of the '56.
Nothing too exciting: my avatar is a 1957, and it was pretty randomly chosen. I liked it, and it was available.
