I quite like all of these, but based on the trim and colours shown here, my order of preference would be; 1954, 1955, 1956 and lastly 1953.
Gotta go with the '54. It's beautiful, just as all the rest are. But, for me, the '55 & '56 had just a tad bit of "trying too hard" to them.

The '53 & '54 are tie and the '55 & '56 are tie. By the pics here '55 please.
53’. Much prefer the style particularly the rear wheel well shape!
1955 and 1956 are clear winners for me in a tie. 1953 next.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
55 followed closely by 56. All great cars.

The '54 styling and color separation wins, then '53, '56 and '55 in that order.
I'll take one of each ! It was late in the game for them, but Packard had some beautiful cars near the end.
53’. Much prefer the style particularly the rear wheel well shape!
Larry makes a good point here. That rear wheel cutout on the '53 lends a continental flair to the whole design.

Another vote for the 53 because of the rear wheel arch. The 53 and 54s are rather unique in that their straight eight engines had a four barrel carburetor
For me it's '53, '54, '55 and '56.
