I prefer the more coservative styling of the 1956 model. I cannot say that I am a fan of the wings and wider look of the 1957.

Tough for me to choose I really like both even though they are so different.

I like both but the edge goes to the 57.

I much prefer the styling of the 56 & 55 Plymouth to that of the 57 & 58.  Cleaner crisper look IMHO.

1956, even though the 1957 is more dramatic.

"Suddenly, it's 1960!" The Forward Looking '57 for me.

The '57 all the way, no contest. Chrysler designed some of the most dramatic cars on road starting in 1957.

I owned a very similar '56, mine was white over dark blue.  I really liked the push-button transmission, and the V8 had just a little too much power as I taught my bride to drive on it.  We kept it for several years, and traded it for a 1960 Chevy.   I should have kept the Plymouth.   The '57 earned its reputation as a rust bucket.
