@ed-glorius My absolute favorite year for the Chevelle, a beautiful understated design! (L78 please!)

Chevrolet couldn't have done a better job of refining the '66. SS427 for me!

I really like the GTX. That upside-down roof pillar looked so odd when we first saw it, but now, the car would look strange without it. But as much as I like the Plymouth, I like the Super Sport better. I loved the 66's style enough, back then, to buy one and I still love it. Chevelle please John!

They ruined the beautiful '66 Chevelle, JMHO though. Plymouth today.😊

Not a fan of the early Chevelles. Of course the Plymouth is my choice.

The Chevelle please John. Almost as good as the 1966.

Chevelle. A slight improvement over the sensational 66. I like the Plymouth but that roof line just doesn't appeal to me.

Chevelle for 1967 improved the looks of the ‘66 with the grille and wrap around tailights.

'67 Chevelle is very nice, but I prefer the GTX.  1967 I would have bought a Pontiac or I did buy a Dodge Coronet 500.

Plymouth for me too. I was never a fan of the ‘66-67 Chevelles.

Both are beautiful and powerful automobiles and I have diecast replicas of each one. Driving a real one back then would be delightful !
