They are so radically different both are very cool but the two seater is cooler!

I pick the 58 because at my advancing age the 57 is too difficult to get into and out of. I traded my 55 for the same reason a few years ago.
I pick the '57. I much prefer the '55 and '57 T-Birds but a close second is the beautiful '61 thru '63. The '58 thru '60 are nice looking cars all the same; I prefer the trim of the '59.
A no-brainer for me. The '58. I've never been a fan of "little" cars unless they are 1:24 scale models.

Massive disappointment for me after 1955 through 1957, but with the steady downward trend for the next few years, 1957 is better than 1958. Unlike George, I prefer smaller. We each of us march to our own drummer.
I agree with Prof. Green on the '57. (But I really like the '56 better.)
Sorry, I can't pick here. I love both for different reasons and none of those are more than the other. A Thunderbird in any year always catches my eye.
Having owned three of them and driven at least eight others, they are all great.

Paint it White and put Suzanne Somers in the drivers seat and the 57 is iconic!
I really like both for different reasons but choose the '57 for this comparison.
1957 is just so pretty and pure. Also, I too like smaller.

Ed; Pure is a good description of the lines of the '57 Bird; simplistic but sleek and beautiful. I feel the same about the '55, which I LOVE but do think the '57 is a sleeker design. This is also why I detest the continental kit on the '56; because it is completely at odds with the car's design and the flow of its lines.
My all time favorite car design the '57, of course I don't fit in them and in general don't care for two seater. But I love their styling. '55 is close but the part of the car you look at the most, the dash in the '57 I much prefer to the '55 '56.
Surprisingly the '61 - '63 I don't care for the styling, nice but not to my taste.
'57, '55, '59, '60, '58, '64, '66, '65 and don't care for the other T-birds. Well maybe the '87 & '88 Turbo Coupe.
Two very different cars, love both but my vote goes to the '57.

Sorry, but for me it is the 57, since we have had one in the family since the early 70's. Now in my brothers hands since Dad passed.
