I would take the Yugo! I wouldn't own a Tesla and I wouldn't drive one or ride in one. If they are really the future of our beloved automobiles, then I'm glad my driving days are nearly over and I'm on the way out.

I would rather say he's adventurous. I've been a passenger in a Tesla, from my prospective the car rode smooth and from what I could view the NAV and front camera are better than any I've seen. Any one who's looking for a sure bet could settle for a Honda or the likes of one...boring but a sure bet. Would I buy a Tesla, no thanks...I'm too much of a dinosaur.@georgeschire We do have a member on here who owns one. I'm sure he'd appreciate being called nuts. Just saying.

Clearly, not everyone who owns a Tesla is crazy, nor are they ignorant. I get the Musk issue. But I also think the rage against Tesla is a by-product of all the rhetoric we hear. If we all decided to buy cars based on the convictions/beliefs of the maker, none of us would drive a Ford.

@sizedoesmatter, I've had the chance to drive a few. They are incredibly quick and capable machines. It's a shame their virtues get lost in all the debate. I appreciate them, but I'm not sure I would buy one. I like the sound of my engine too much!
