I suspect that's not polish but chrome wrap.@chris I would think this would be easier to wrap because it has no compound curves to deal with. Maybe camouflage would help to make it invisible.
Polishing makes it invisible, but then it is a road hazard.

Just realized why I'm warming up to the tesla...An oddball for sure. Would you believe I'm beginning to warmup to it.

@sizedoesmatter LOL....another car I definitely do not find attractive. A bit out of my price range as well....lol.

@chav Yes, I remember you saying that bumper sticker is now a permanent part of your car. I must admit, you have more guts than I do. If I owned a Tesla, I'd have to take the loss and sell it/trade it in. It wouldn't be the first time I've lost money on a car. 😔 😔
I haven't even purchased additional 1/18 Tesla replicas - despite values dropping just like their 1:1 counterparts.

I considered selling the Tesla so many times ... makes no financial sense, once I sit inside and start driving I forget all my regrets ... if I sell her, it will be for my own safety, this thing could be wicked.
@chav I have the Lexus 300h. Boring? Maybe, but iron clad reliability and a very comfortable ride. At my age boring can be good.
But, I am picking up a new Hyundai Ioniq 5 dual motor tomorrow. Zero to 60 in 4 seconds. THAT'S not boring.

After the Tesla lost 50% of its value for 2.5 years, I decided to swing the other direction and average out with maximum value preservation, hence the Lexus. It is RX, forgot to mention, dynamics are nice on paper, but the feel is very different ... I am missing the quiet, instant and effortless acceleration of the EV, that is a priceless feeling. I am sure you will enjoy the Ioniq, although charging could be annoying (I once rented Kia EV).
@chav Charging looks straight forward. It can use the Tesla supercharger and go from 10-80% in less than 20 minutes. I'll be doing almost all charging at home with a level 2 charger though.
@whodeytink That is straight forward. When I rented the Kia, I had no home adaptor, nor Tesla supercharger adaptor, so had to use the non-Tesla network and that was painful.
