LOL! As a Canuck I definitely get the drift of this one.
Living anywhere has it's challenges. As certain as snow in the north wild storms occur in the south. This past weekend we had thunderstorms with tornados mixed in and we are also subject to the dangers of hurricanes.
Somewhere in the middle, we moan about the incessant drizzle.
Isn't a blizzard sort of like a frozen hurricane?
Here in east Tennessee, we get every states left-overs. Between the Jetstream, wet and warm up-winds from the Gulf of Mexico and cold down-winds from Canada, it all swirls around and lands here!
As far as I am concerned, the words "North" and "joy" have no business showing up in the same sentence. If I had my way, I would live in Key West. It's as far south as I can get and still be in the USA!

OH YES! I grew up in South Florida. As an adult, I spent half my (Florida) life in Key West. What a place. Oh the stories I could tell - but can't.

Too true John! I was in Key West one year when a hurricane was ready to hit. A mass evacuation was ordered. Man is it a madhouse when all these cars hit the road north at the same time. Better have a car that gets good mileage. OY!
At 25 in Conn. I would shovel snow in high 20's F in a T-shirt. Liked the cold. Disliked heat over 75 F
24 years ago I retired to N.H. and moved snow well dressed and actually enjoyed the cold & snow. Cold didn't bother me, but had to be dressed well. Disliked heat over 80F.
Now I enjoy removing snow while well to over dressed with my JD tractor with the 50" 2 stage snow blower/thrower. But now I hate the cold. But now I wait for the sun to come out. I have no place to go that can't be put off. Don't have to go to work!!!! No problem with heat to 95 F.

Note my byline. I love it here.

I would love to put one on my X730 along
with the heated cab but we just don't get much snow here. When we do, usually it melts within a few days.
