I think the Pontiac represents a major step forward, stylistically. Though I've never been much taken by the kink in its roofline. Faux is never a good design resource in my personal opinion.

I've always liked the 64 Galaxie. I like the Pontiac more!

Pontiac by a lot. It looks fresh and powerful.

The Poncho, especially this one with the iconic 8-lug wheels!

@charles-rockett I've read that the "kink" in the roofline was designed to resemble a top-up convertible (but I suspect you already knew that).

Both cars are very attractive and have great looking interiors as well.  I was a big fan of the stacked headlight design used by Pontiac in this era, although I do prefer the shoulder years.  I very much prefer the shoulder years of Ford design as well.  I have driven both of these '64 cars and much prefer the Pontiac experience.  Pontiac gets the nod today.

the 64 Ford was my favorite out of the 62-64 models.  I could not pass on it.  The Pontiac is nice as well!

Both are nicely designed vehicles. I slightly favourite the Pontiac. Thanks for another tough choice John.

1964 Pontiacs are the best looking full size Pontiacs of the ‘60’s in my opinion.

Love both cars. The eight lug wheels got me again. Pontiac.

I could almost vote a Tie today, but after studying the two cars more, I choose the PONTIAC over the Ford.  To my eyes, the Pontiac was improved greatly from the disappointing '61 and was getting better looking every year.  Actually, the same could be said for the Ford after their "plain Jane boring" '61.  So it came down for me to being, which one would I like to get behind the dashboard and drive.  Loudly, it is PONTIAC!

I'd take 1963 first, especially the GP. But they're both fantastic!

Love to have my favorite Ford '61 with the '64 XL interior & 427 four speed.  Like the '64 Ford but, I love the '64 Pontiac my #2 favorite after the '61. Actually I like Ford Galaxies '60 to '69 and like the Pontiac '61 to '64.

Definitely Pontiac in today's poll.

Tough call, love both, a slight edge to the Pontiac.
