Back in the 60s we had Mitchell's Drive-in...86th Street and 7th Ave in good old Brooklyn, NY! Great for burgers & fries and for street racing of course!

I should add for a drive-in movie we had to go out to Valley Stream, Long Island, NY and visit the Sunrise Drive-in theater...depending on traffic less than a 1/2 hour drive along the Belt Parkway and the Sunrise Highway.

Ah yes, the Sunrise Drive-In. Isn't that where the Everly Brothers wrote their song "Wake up Little Susie"?

we still have a drive in here not far from Melbourne, on the peninsula in Dromana. I believe it is heritage listed meaning it cant be pulled down/removed.

Steve, could be but it would have been one hell of a ride from Knoxville, Tennessee.
