Wow, when looking at this car in person one notices the chrome, but dismisses it as a sign of the times. But, up close and personal watching this video the sense of just how much chrome is hung on this car is incredible.
I wonder what the cost would be to rechromed this behmoth.
@kocour I agree, when looking at photographs in a book or on-line it's easy to dismiss an item like this as being too excessive, but in reality one is one overcome by the sheer power of it all.
(Mind you, I don't think the guy who shot the video is going to Hollywood any time soon).
Hate the car, dislike the music, love the color though.
Jack, I agree with you completely.
I like the car. Not as much as the '57 or '59, but this '58 has grown on me, particularly the interior.

Probably cheaper to buy another one!
From the glittery Fashion-Aire Dynastar grill, to the "Flight Pitch Dynaflow" transmission and to the massive rear bumper housing the "Dual Jet" reverse lights, the fabulously chromed Air Born B-58 Buick is one of my all-time faves of the fifties, especially in Limited trim. Btw, I subscribe to that "Young Exotics" YouTube channel. They clearly have a penchant for 1950s Buicks and are currently restoring a white 1953 Skylark. Their preference for Buicks is understandable. After all, wouldn't you really rather have a Buick?
@al_dorado I sure would Al....especially if it was a '55 Special 2drht; my fave Buick.
In general I am no fan of the '58s from GM. If I had to choose one, it would be the Buick Limited since relatively few were made.
