@georgeschire  I am in total agreement with you.  I picked Ford because it is not far out and it does blend in.  I don't want to make any statement or be noticed or the talk of the town.  All I want is a car that pleases MY eyes and runs very well.

Once again we have opposites taste but we agree on the qualities of both cars we just disagree on the personal taste. George, we "make the world go around".  

Love them both, but when I see them side-by-side I realize just how graceful the lines flow on the Ford. The Mercury on the other hand is over-done and remines me of a 3-ring circus, different and separate components fighting for my attention. Gotta go with the Ford Fairlane Victoria.
