Here are some old photographs that I have that were taken in the 1920's showing my Grandmother posing with a stylish new 1920's era automobile.
In one image, she is sitting on the car's running board along with one of her sisters, who was my Aunt Francis. In the other, Grandma Ruth is sitting proudly behind the wheel. This is in Chicago during those years. I don't know what the make is of the automobile is. At this time, she may have been living in the Logan Square/Boulevard section of Chicago, although one of these images was probably taken near downtown Chicago on a brick cobblestone street.
I think I see Jerry Van Dyke in the background...could it be a 1928 Porter ? 🤣
Well, it's definitely early 1920's.
I thought it might be - because of those unique fenders, windshield frame, and "up-sweep cowl" - either a Rickenbacker, Oldsmobile, or Dodge. When I compared photos & grill logos, however, nothing matched up perfectly. Although ALL are very similar. 🤔 🤔
Doesn't anyone have an APP for this? 😯
@perrone1 I dunno know about that Tony; you may not have noticed that my baker's dozen have the center deleted so less calories. Plus I usually walk briskly from the parking lot to the donut shop entrance....no drive through for this athlete. I try to stay on top of these issues.

The rounded hoodline makes me think it could be a Franklin.

Good guess, but another near miss. Like the Olds, Rickenbaker, and Dodge - they're ALL similar but not exact. 😔 😔 😔
@perrone1 The extra-low cal donuts without the icing are in the lower tier of the box; I'll be there momentarily. There's an apple fritter there that has your name on it.
@perrone1 I know Tony....I know.....I get the same buzz when deciding which one (s) to pick from the box first!
