Love both but the Chevy edges out Ford for looks IMO.

The styling of the Chevy and its trim is better looking than the Ford IMHO.

Chevy but not by much.  I do like the way the convertible top sits on the Chevy. ☕️

GIANT Plus One to both my Buds - Bob & Jack!

To amplify just a bit though - the '41 Chevy is killer. The trim pieces were all thought through beautifully - hood sides, front fender trim and the body-length chrome on the pseudo running boards, including the integral skirts, is magnificent. And while the '40 Ford DeLuxe was so pure & iconic in design, the styling cue line under the '41's headlamps that traverse across the front fenders and then continue on the rear, has always troubled me.

Chevy wins this run. (Another exemplary choice for the poll John!)

@perrone1 Well stated Tony.  Regarding this Ford design; I really don't know what could have been done as an update of the iconic '40 Ford that would have looked better.  Although I like it well enough, the '41 is no match for the '40 IMO.

I prefer the look of the Ford, but the Chevy has more modern engineering I think (correct me if I'm wrong). Chevy wins for this reason.

Chevy please.  Don't care for Ford styling '41 - '50.

Chevy by a very large margin, the Ford looks like it’s wearing an oxygen mask.

I wasn't going to say this because it's a tad weird but from the first time I ever saw the '41 Ford the "face" of it reminded me of a proper English gentleman with a trim, proper old English moustache.  All that's missing is the bowler hat.  Lol.....go figure......it's one of those involuntary images that pop into a person's head.

@ed-glorius Actually Ed, the Chevy still had the same 216 ci motor it had from 1937. The main bearings in that motor were poured babbit and stayed that way until the early fifties when they finally received modern insert bearings. The Chevys also had vacuum shift which came out in 1939 as an option and became standard in 1940 through 1948. Vacuum shift was okay but made changing gears rather slow. Also, the Chevy had a solid front axle which made it ride like a truck. As an option, you could order the Master Deluxe which had an independent front suspension which improved the ride and handling immeasurably.
