'49 Hudson or Mercury?

I'm going with the pretty Hudson, although they both are great choices.

A preconceived notion, I know, but in my early (teenage) 'car crazy' years, '49 Hudson's were old men's cars. Now that I am an old man, I love them. However, I'm still very much a product of fond memories and the forty-nine Merc was the vision of cool. Gotta vote my heart - Mer-Cury 4 Me !!

Family was Hudson all the way, not me but here I prefer the Hudson. The first Mercury I really liked '53, loved them'54 - '56.

My thoughts exactly! Mercury for me. The '49 was by far my favorite of this 3 year design run.

As much as I like the Mercury, the sleek lines of the Hudson gets my vote.
