I love the Caribbean, but idolize that Eldorado!! Caddy for the win!!
Caribbean for me. I love its looks and the tri-tone.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Packard wins easily for me today.
A '56 DeVille convertible would have made for a more difficult decision but the half-a-'56, half-a-'57 Eldo never looked right to my eye!
Great one today, John! 👍

Packard wins this comparison simply because, although I love this era of standard Cadillacs very much, the El Dorado tail end spoils it completely; it doesn't match the design or lines of the front half at all, right up to and including 1958.
A Lincoln Premier would beat both of these in my mind. Having said that, I would pick Cadillac and then Packard.
Packard for me on this pairing.
Don't care for either one. No interest today.
Both are such really gorgeous luxury automobiles ! I would be in heaven driving either one or the stunning Lincoln from that year, too.
I like the multicolored Packard. I agree the taillights on the Cadillac are neat but don’t fit with the front end
