Tough call but Mercury first, Hudson second.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

For some reason the Mercury and Hudson have always been associated with switchblade hoodlums - though doubtless that had more to do with Hollywood than reality. Perhaps due to their massive and menacing appearance when painted black. Given this association I would go for the De Soto - it looks more at ease - followed by the Merc' then Hudson.  All are really nice.

In 1956 at the age of 16 I bought a 1950 Mercury coupe. Never did I ever hear of a connection to hoodlums. Guess I was  more ignorant than I thought.

Mercury, Hudson, DeSoto.

I have always loved the styling of the '49 Mercury best of the three years of its run.  Hudson is second; DeSoto third.

Of these three; '48, '49, '50 Hudson, Mercury, DeSoto. '47 would be DeSoto, Mercury, Hudson, '51 would be Mercury, Hudson, DeSoto.

Mercury, Hudson, DeSoto.

As I said, this probably exists more in movieland than reality.

TOUGH ONE!  These are three of my favorite cars, but I'll admit that Hudson was still a year away from better styling, so this '49 version is #3 in this poll.  The Mercury aside from its cult draw, has always been another of my favorite cars, so I'm giving it my #2 vote.  Which brings us to the DESOTO with the "waterfall grill" is one of my favorite grills of all time.  So DESOTO is #1.
