Although the 1950 Cadillac looks worse than the 1949 IMO, it still gets my vote in this group.

Pretty elegant group tonight, John. I'd put them in this order: Packard, Lincoln, Cadillac.

I like the Caddy but I really like that Packard a bit more.

Tie, Lincoln & Packard.  Don't care for the Caddy.

PS: The Lincoln is GREEN!

This one was tougher than I thought it would be.

The Cadillac was on its way to achieving its iconic look of the beautiful 1956, though it was five years away at this point.  The Packard appeared then, and still does today bulbous.  I like it, but not enough to choose it over the other two.

That brings me to my VOTE FOR TODAY for the LINCOLN.  I've always liked the front-end Grille and headlight treatment on the '50.

I prefer the Cadillac styling by far over the comparatively stocky looking Packard; which I also like.  The Lincoln from '49 thru '51 was a look I could never like; although I did like the Mercury very much.

Tough choice for me, but the Lincoln gets to me.

Packard in this series was still stodgy but had great detailing.  Lincoln's styling was not mainstream but still impressive.  Cadillac was reaching for what would become their standard in a few years.  And that's my order of preference:  Packard, Lincoln, and Cadillac.
