I'm going for the Kaiser Darrin here despite it having major weakness in design. Like the Corvette at this point, it is fibreglass and has a six cylinder engine but with only 90 horsepower compared to the Corvette 140. Production was only one year and 435, I believe. They did not sell well. Despite this, I love the looks and the sliding doors are unique. Also, it had a three speed manual transmission unlike the Corvette automatic for that year. Anyway, for me, I want the Darrin.

In the minority as usual I'm sure, I've no interest in either.  I enjoyed looking in though.

For the era, they were both unique and neither were very good cars as a whole. The Darrin has so much more style and presence-I gotta go with it. Love the color.

I went with the Vette (maybe out of loyalty) and I really like it in that color.  The Darrin is very cool also.

They're both deeply flawed, but the Corvette looks better and is better realized IMO.

Darrin for me.  I saw it first on a dealer showroom floor and Wow!  Of course I was too young for a driver's license.   The Corvette was and is also special, but the Darrin is one of my dream cars.

Corvette for me. Most people who criticize the early six cylinder Corvettes have never driven one. For the time they were built they were actually very nice handling cars and the performance quite good.

Corvette styling  and drive train wins hands down.  Disliked the nose and sliding doors on the Darrin.

The pocket doors on the K-D are cool, but not nearly as cool as the Corvette.
