Packard for me. As much as I like the Cadillac, the Packard has more class.

Both of these cars sport Dagmar's but the Caddy's are bigger. Were this a comparo of fifty-sixes, I'd vote Packard. But for fifty-five; Cadillac for me please.
Packard please, just don't like Caddy styling before '57.
I love the 1955 and 1956 Packard styling, although I also like the Cadillac of this generation. Packard wins for me.

I've shared my views on the '54, '55', and '56 Cadillac's here in the Lounge in the past. I think for those three years, it was a work in progress until the '56 was perfect and in my opinion the most stylish and beautiful for that year. So as much as also like the Packard for '55, as it too, was a beauty on wheels, I voted for the '55 CADILLAC.

The Packard is my choice too. I think that Cadillac is absolutely ugly.
Both are really nice looking cars and very differently styled. I give the nod to the iconic Cadillac, but it's very close.
I'm a taillights guy, and the "Cathedral" taillight design on this Packard is one of the best ever. That wins the vote for me!

Going with the Cadillac but I love the Packard too.
