I prefer the more trimmed look of the DeSoto in this instance.

Both are beautiful in their own way. It would be as futile as trying to choose between a Miss June and Miss July, LOL. It's not a question of "Tastes Great !" vs "
Less Filling !" Each one tastes great AND is less filling, so I'll take the '55 Desotomobile !

They both look great, but I'm going with DeSoto because I think it looks better.

The 55 is my favorite year DeSoto; it gets the nod....but the Olds is a beauty as well.
