I like "jewelry" on cars and this DeSoto is dripping with it. I do appreciate the understated elegance of the 300B but flash wins today for me.

DeSoto for me, but I also like the Chrysler.  Boy, these were big cars! (Even in 1:43.)

@moe-parr  Well stated Mr. Parr..........I agree, it's this DeSoto by just a hair.

Chrysler is my choice for color and just seems to be a little more modern for its day

Love them both, but the 300B is my favorite 1950s American automobile. It wins.

For the first time, I have to go with a tie. I like the lines of both and find the colours, in either case, work well.

DeSoto by the smallest of margins. Both are true gems.

I was influenced as a kid with my Dad owning a '56 DeSoto, so that's my vote.  But I love the Chrysler too.

They are both outstanding cars, I'd take either today. Tough pick, but If I am being forced at gunpoint, I'll have to go with the DeSoto.

Both are beautiful cars, but I'm wondering: If John used a pic of the New Yorker St Regis how many DeSoto voters might have been swayed towards Chrysler...

It's beautiful, but I would have changed my vote to the DeSoto.

A tie for me.  I like the sportiness of the 300B as well as its Imperial grill and Twin Tower taillights.  This delightful, delovely and distinctive DeSoto Adventurer looks so much better with the wires seen here than the standard gold hubcaps, imo.  Btw, I missed the election.  Can you please backdate my vote? Nobody will know.  😉
