@georgeschire I am the same about convertibles. Just do not like them as much.
So much of the overall styling of a car is lost when it doesn't have a top. Many times the actual appeal to a car is the look of the roof-line. At least for me anyway.

I voted for the BUick for the full radiused rear wheel cutouts John Bono I was glad you clarified the rear window situation so I didn't have to. One thing I have always heard however, was that the Super and Roadmaster had an optional stick on to give the rear window the look of a three piece unit. Anyone know for sure?
Olds for the colors but by the very slightest edge over the Buick.

I agree with George that the roofline very often makes a significant contribution to the overall appeal of a car, and with very rare exceptions (none of which come to mind right now) a raised convertible top comes a poor second for visual appeal. Whoever came up with the term "ragtop" got it about right. They tend to look like saggy, rumpled versions of a "proper" top. Mind you, some convertibles look really attractive with the top down (which just kind of proves the point).
Both cars shown here look much better with tin tops - especially with the 3-piece rear window.
