I like the look of the Ford better but voted Oldsmobile for its place in the market and its engineering.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
As soon as I saw the choice was between Ford and any thing else I voted Ford.
They both look great and I have diecast replicas of each of these excellent Fifties automobiles.
Ford for 55 for me. Thanks John!
I'll take the Ford as well. I just think the styling looks better. 😊
Other than the similar colors, I don't see these as being in the same category or customer profile. Strictly from a style standpoint, the Crown Victoria is the winner.
Ford. I like the sculptured chrome.
You got that right, Bob...today's focus is on style.Other than the similar colors, I don't see these as being in the same category or customer profile. Strictly from a style standpoint, the Crown Victoria is the winner.

In 1955, I went car shopping with my parents and they bought two new Oldsmobile's in these exact colors. His was a two door '98' hardtop (as shown) and hers was a '98' Starfire convertible. Many great memories with these cars. Without question I vote Oldsmobile. Sad DM never did a 1955 Olds '98'.
I'll take the more compact stylish Ford. Thanks John.
I knew the minute I saw Ford vs Oldsmobile, it would be the Ford.
