@kevins Seems that most '55/'56 Buicks had the 2-tone paint jobs; I guess because of how the attractive chrome trim facilitated color separation. Ford did a fantastic job of this as well with their Fairlane.
Yes, the "color separation" trend stated in the mid '50s. The big one for me was the '55 Ford followed by the cove Corvettes '56 to '61.@kevins Seems that most '55/'56 Buicks had the 2-tone paint jobs; I guess because of how the attractive chrome trim facilitated color separation. @kevins Interesting Kevin. A Special with Roadmaster wheel covers.
@bob-jackman You’re darn good Bob, I picked the photo from the web to show the color combo of mine, and the full shot shows big’s and little’s! Too cool, huh?
Two longtime favorites...I can't pick one, gotta call it a tie.
Gents, thanks for the pics and responses.

David I recall these...I built the New Yorker but I can't recall what colors I used. I thought it was strange that Revell chose to go with 4 door versions for the Mercury and Buick.First time for me voting a tie; just like them both.
