Poll: Which '56? (6/11/2021)

 My favorite Mercury. 

While I am not keen on the colour combinations of either of these vehicles, I am far more comfortable picking the Mercury.

No contest here, the Mercury in every way.

Mopar or No Car!

I'm the minority, tonight. Though both are over restored and over equipped with accessories, the Mercury looks gaudy and the Dodge is more elegant. I go with the Dodge.

OMG!  The MERCURY all the way!  And the Black/Red color combo is a favorite for Two-Tone's in the Fifties.  I like the Dodge too, but against the Mercury, it's no-contest!

I love both cars buy give the Merc the styling edge.

I had to call it a tie. While I am a Mopar guy at heart, and I really like the styling of Chrysler for 56, I have to many fond memories of that year Mercury.  My grandmother had one - a fully loaded 2 door in Persimmon, I fell in love  in love  with it.   I thought it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen  And when she died my mom inherited the Mercury.  I was hoping my parents would keep it until I was old enough to drive, but Dad was more interested in the money so he sold it.  Ever since then the 56 Mercury has held a special place in my heart.

Mercury for me. I especially like the color combination.

Love both of them but the Mercury gets my vote.
