The three are all really representative of 1957. The Dodge is the "fins dominant." The Mercury is the "anything goes." And the Oldsmobile is the "enough is enough." Sorry, Oldsmobile, but the fins still had a couple of years to get even more extreme, and sorry, Mercury, but that "anything" was to grow even wilder for a couple of more years. But as for me, doggone it, I'm with ............. Sorry, gang, I just can't make up my mind on this threesome.

I find the bumper designs of these three cars very interesting. Dodge has a double-tiered bumper with no grill, Mercury's bumper sports two large air intakes below its narrow concave grill, and the Old's bumper completely surrounds and protects the recessed grill. I vote Olds for simplicity of design.
I love the smooth styling of the Oldsmobile. The Dodge and Mercury are tied for 2nd place.
