DeSoto - for '57, it's just cool. And my goodness, look at those wheels!

Oldsmobile for me today.  Although its color combo looks less flashy than that of the DeSoto I much prefer the styling of the Oldsmobile (without the skirts).  There are many equally beautiful color combos for it offered that year by GM.

DeSoto! It was such a fresh design back in 1957.

My second favorite Olds after the '62 but the '57 DeSoto is my #1 favorite '57 car.

After the '57 Chrysler 300-C  I feel the '57 DeSoto styling was the most successful example of the 1957 "Forward Look"

WOW!  What a great "Which One?" to check in on this morning!  Let me spell O L D S M O B I L E.  That split rear window is one of the most beautiful innovations on any car of the 1950's.  And surprisingly, I like the skirts on it!

As for the DeSoto, sorry, after the incredible '56, the '57 didn't do it for me.  Though I will say I like it better than the '57 Dodge or Plymouth.

'57 is my favorite year for Oldsmobile, but it looks old-fashioned next to the '57 DeSoto with its "Forward Look" styling. DeSoto for me today.
