Voted for the Chrysler.  Wasn't a fan of the Roadmaster roof-line.  The Chrysler certainly looks more sleek and modern (to my eyes).

I voted for the Buick because of the 1957 Chrysler's  reputation for poor quality. Of course, all that would likely have been fixed in restoration by now. This was a close call!

As much as I love Mopars, I gotta go with the Buick…that rear “triple” window, the wire wheels & the color combo just rock! Had the Chrysler been ANY other color than pink…you never know…

Not my favourites, but of the pair, I would choose the Chrysler. Colour choices are extreme.

The Buick wins this one easily for me.  I love its bold styling much more, especially the roof line and the trim application which facilitates the attractive 2-tone paint application.  I agree that the styling of the Chrysler is more modern looking but I was never that taken with it in '57-58; I much preferred the '55-56 look.

I pick the Buick with it's fake three piece back window. Only the Special and Century had the true three piece back windows while the Super and Roadmaster did not. I was never a big fan of the big wings on Chrysler products and the lack of quality sealed the deal.

I feel the Buick is a continuation of a superseded fashion, and it is this Chrysler that set that fashion.

I'm leaning towards that beautiful Buick but voted tie today.

Very well worded, Charles. I happen to love the '57 Buick and the one pictured is as nice as they come. But it was evolutionary, while the '57 Chrysler was revolutionary!
