The wings and eyelids make Dodge the vote today.
I’m voting Dodge as well. 😎👍

Being honest, I'm not fond of either, but in a heartbeat I'd take the "in your face Dodge" over the "bland milk toast Edsel". And I'll say that the '59 Dodge is much better than the previous two years as far as appealing to my eyes.
While the Edsel was completely dumbed down from the beautiful debut of a year earlier. The '59 version is nothing more than a Ford with a different grill and taillights.
So for today, it's DODGE for me!

Bland or not, I still prefer the Edsel. I just never took to that Royal Lancer because of the strange eyebrows and stuck on tail fins.
Did anyone in the Dodge studio not have a gimmick they added to this model? The Edsel may be watered down from the beautiful 58 but at least it was more cohesive IMO. Edsel.
Although this is my fave year for Edsel styling and although I think the '59 Dodge styling is a little too flamboyant, I will vote for the Dodge pizzaz over the comparatively staid Edsel. It is a close one today though....thanks for another brain strainer John.
'57 - '59, Dodge is the only member of the ChryCo lineup that I don't like. Moe Parr votes for the Edsel today.

I actually think, now what if DM released these 2 at around the same time, which would I buy first, or both at the same time? I'm unlikely to ever completely forgo one of their models so I've never voted "no interest". So by a whisker I would buy the Edsel first
What Bob said!Did anyone in the Dodge studio not have a gimmick they added to this model? The Edsel may be watered down from the beautiful 58 but at least it was more cohesive IMO. Edsel.
Gents, thanks for your responses.
