I'm still angry at FoMoCo for making the '57 Fairlane so indistinguishable for '58 & '59. So phooey on you, I'm voting Plymouth!
57-60 Plymouth were the best till maybe 62 square body. Of course I’m a little biased I fell in car love with my dads 58 when I was a little boy. No kid seat, no seat belts I used to stand on the muffler bump in the back seat and lean over the front seat and talk to my dad. The Best!
I love em both, but it's the Plymouth. 💯
I like the Ford.

I like square cars, but then '59 Ford is too square for me. Not that I like the Plymouth any better. SO, a tie today. Most '58 & '59 cars styling left me cold, in general '55 to '57 were alright and '61 to '64 were great '65 to '72 were alright in my opinion speaking full-size. '59 I would have bought a Dodge.
I have always liked the '59 Ford and all of the 50s Fords for that matter. I feel kind of neutral regarding Plymouth styling between 1957 through 1963; it doesn't do much for me.
Interesting that as a kid of 8 years old I remember going with my Dad on our annual visit to the many new car dealerships in the Fall of the year to see all the new cars.
I fondly recall going in to Kopy Motors, the local Plymouth dealer. My little boy eyes focused on the Fins on one of the Fury's on the showroom floor, they were taller than I was. As I would usually do at the dealerships, and with my Dad next to me, I'd sit behind the steering wheel and pretend I could drive it. After our browsing was done, we'd venture to another dealer.
For our Ford visit, it was to Bob Carter Ford, where I immediately noticed that the new Ford looked bigger and bulkier than the Plymouth, that was more streamlined in appearance. Sitting in the Ford, I remember not liking the dashboard as much as the Plymouth's, perhaps the reason still today, dashboards are major factor in my liking a car.
Of course we visited all the other brands dealerships too. Forever to this day, aside from my loving seeing all the new cars, it was this special time spent with my Dad that remains the highlighted memory. Now as an elderly guy, and I share this memory with you, the cars are gone and so is my Dad, but both are bold pictures in my mind.
Oh, and my vote for today, thanks Dad, I vote for you!

Plymouth please John. It looks trimmer and faster, even when parked.
The Plymouth is nice, but for me looks overdone while the Ford is just perfect.

I voted no interest. I don't like either of them. I would have bought the 59 Chevy or the Buick.
