The Mercury is a beauty, love the color break, but it's the Buick that I love.

I LOVE the Buick - that color combination is my favorite. I used to have a friend that owned one in these colors. The Mercury is one of the oddest looking to come from the brand. I think they were trying to outdo some of the wild styling of the '57 & '58, but it just seems disjointed. All was corrected for 1960, as that year is just gorgeous. 

Now, back to the Buick - these colors are just incredible - I know WHITE. For some, that's a non-color. For me, white has a simple class and elegance that other colors can't match. I like it so much, I had to have one of my own, so I took a Western Models Indy 500 Pace car and removed the decals, painted the rims red. A fairly simply change overall, but since I don't do much of this kind of stuff, it required some patience and determination. I think it turned out well.
